About this place

Phuket’s largest and most revered Buddhist temple. Built in the early 19th century, it is famous for its towering 63-meter Grand Pagoda, which houses a sacred bone fragment of the Buddha, and its historical role as a healing center during an 1876 tin miners' rebellion.
